"Being wonderfully weird is the biggest compliment. I show up as my full self — and I believe you deserve space to do the same."
A little about Julia
Buckeye born and raised on a farm in northwest Ohio. ADHDer with a majorly sensitive sensory profile. Helicopter dog mom to Arthur. Fluent in penguin facts and proud of it. Her love language is penguin pebbling — look it up, it's the sweetest thing.
Anastasia Cuenco, OTD, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Play-based, neurodiversity-affirming OT with a heart for children and a knack for meeting kids exactly where they are.
Anastasia is an Arizona native — Queen Creek born and raised — who found her way to OT through a genuine love of children and a belief that play is some of the most important work there is. She graduated from Northern Arizona University's Occupational Therapy program (Go Lumberjacks! 🪵) where she was mentored by Dr. Colman — and it was there that her passion for neurodiversity-affirming OT truly took root, discovering just how much occupational therapy could do to support neurodivergent kids and their families.
For her doctoral capstone at Arizona State University, Anastasia worked with neurodivergent college students on executive functioning skills and academic success — bringing her full empathy and creativity to a population that is so often overlooked once they age out of traditional support systems.

A little about Anastasia
Arizona girl through and through, with a serious passion for exploring — whether that's a new hiking trail, a restaurant nobody's heard of yet, or a book she can't put down. Happiest when surrounded by good food, good friends, and a really good view.
Arthur
Chief Comfort Officer · Therapy Session Guest-Star
Big personality. Small body. Infinite therapeutic value.
Arthur is a 4-year-old toy poodle and the heart of this practice — a service animal, honorary occupational therapy student at NAU's Doctor of Occupational Therapy program, and the undisputed highlight of any session he attends. Don't let the size fool you. This dog has presence.
Arthur brings something to sessions that no credential can teach — the kind of calm, nonjudgmental, tail-wagging presence that makes even the hardest days feel a little lighter. If you'd like Arthur to join your session, just ask. We're happy to make that happen.
Julia is also happy to answer questions about how service animals can support people with PTSD, ADHD, and/or autism — just reach out!
